Adding a Network Interface to the Virtual Machine (Hypervisor Level)
Pre-Requisites
Note:
- Complete first time setup with a single network interface card before adding the second one.
- Power off GridGuard server before adding the Network Interface
These instructions are for VMWare ESX/ESXi; for other hypervisors, improvise as necessary.
Edit Virtual Machine Configuration

Click Edit Settings for the virtual appliance and click the Add button on the Hardware tab
Add Ethernet Adapter

Choose Ethernet Adapter from the list of devices and click Next
Choose Network Type

Set the Adapter Type to e1000, if available. If not, choose Flexible.
Set Network Connection as required.
Ensure Connect at power on is checked.
Click Next
Finish Adding Network Adapter

Click Finish to complete network adapter setup
Save Changes

You will now see an entry for the New NIC (adding). Click OK to save changes
