Testing Authentication Sources

SimpleSAML provides a user interface to test SAML service provider initiated logins.

  1. Browse to the following location: https://{SimpleSAMLPHP Host}/simplesaml/module.php/core/authenticate.php
  2. Click on the service provider that is integrated with Gridguard. In most cases, it will be the 'default-sp' service provider.
  3. You should then be redirected to the GridGuard server and have a page asking for your username. Enter your username and submit.
  4. Then your Grid credentials.
  5. If successful, the page should redirect you back the SimpleSAMLPHP host and will display the values of your assertion.
