Updating NTP server configuration
NTP settings configure the GridGuard server for time synchronization with a reference time source. This is especially important for virtual machines than servers that run natively on hardware, as they are more susceptible to losing or gaining time.
Adding a new NTP server
- Launch the ACC (https://{gridguard server}:8443/admin) and select the 'System Management' option
- Select the 'NTP' tab
- Click '+ Add NTP Server'
- Enter NTP server name or IP Address
- Click '+ Add'
Note: NTP uses port UDP 123 for time synchronization. You will need to make sure that your network is configured so that the GridGuard server can access the NTP server at port 123 UDP.
Deleting NTP Server
- Select the NTP server to delete and click on the 'Delete' button
- A dialog will pop up asking for confirmation. Click 'Delete' to proceed with the NTP server deletion.
